Hi! I have a request…. There was this one time I was at your house, you and your mom made a boiled tofu cabbage(I think) dish. It was wonderful and vegetarian, and I would love to know how you make it, if you remember. 🙂
Haha…I’m glad it was so memorable! I actually don’t remember a dish by that description, however I know my mom has made dishes with tofu, shitake, and bok-choy and it’s one of my favourites…is that what you are thinking of?
Hmmm…. It may have been bok-choy. I just remember your mom scooping out thin slices of tofu and the greens from a giant pot of broth/water.
Hey! I received your URL from Max!!! You are a great cook and I was looking for your soba noodle salad recipe that you had at your reception! I’ve been thinking about it this whole time, haha!! Love it! I hope you will share! Thanks, Anita!!!
HI Anita,
Wow I’m glad you liked it. Honestly I was running around so much I don’t think I even had any beyond what I tasted when I made it. It’s a food and wine magazine recipe: http://www.foodandwine.com/recipes/cold-soba-salad-with-dried-shiitake-dressing.
